The Henderson PCMA
would like to welcome all the parents to the 2011 season. We will continue
the parents' and coaching guidelines that were adopted and have been in
place for sometime. These guidelines are in effect at all activities held at
the PCMA facilities. You may get a copy of the PCMA guidelines,
league by-Laws, schedules, tournaments and other information at
www.hendersonpcma.com and by contacting any
Board Member or Coaching Staff.
The
PCMA would like to ask for your help and support once again this year in
making this an exciting and enjoyable experience for everyone. We greatly
appreciate all the volunteer hours our parents put into every Season, which
includes our Fall Ball Session.
Once
again this year we will be asking for your help. The following is a list of
area's you may be ask to help with, and some guidelines we ask everyone to
commit to upholding throughout this season.
Opportunities to help:

Parents will need to help in concession stands for your team when
scheduled. (Please no one under 16.)

Coaches may ask you to work for your team on work detail days.
-
You may be asked to be the team parent, dugout helper, or assistant
coach.

You may be asked to keep the scoreboard or official book during games.
(Must be 16 to keep official book.)
Guidelines:
The
use of face guards on ALL BATTING HELMETS will become mandatory in all age
classes in the spring of 2009. We are adding this requirement as an added
safety benefit for the children. We understand that there will be a slight
adjustment period, but with the help and support of all parents and coaches
this will be a minor rule change.
Please remember the games are for the youth -- NOT THE ADULTS !!
Please encourage
good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players,
coaches, and officials at every game, practice session or any other event
held at the PCMA facilities.
Encourage your
child to treat other players, coaches, fans, and officials with respect
regardless of ability, race, sex, or creed.
This will
be a ZERO TOLORANCE RULE
Help
provide a sports environment free from inappropriate language, drugs,
and alcohol by refraining from their use at any league event or any other
event held at the PCMA facilities.
