Guidelines for ALL-STAR
Coaches
Ø
I will
conduct myself appropriately as a coach of the Henderson PCMA in any league
game or tournament, and be respectful to the officials, coaches, players, and fans
of that league or tournament.
Ø
I understand
any disciplinary action against me (such as being thrown out of any regular
season game) or breaking any other coaches guidelines
can eliminate me from coaching or being an assistant for any All-Star team.
Ø
All-Star
coaching staff should be limited to head coach, dug out coach
, and 2 base coaches. Maximum.
Ø
All-Star
practices will be limited to maximum of twice a week for a maximum of 1 ½ hours
per practice.
Ø
All-Star
coaches should make sure their assistants read and understand these guidelines
as they apply to them.
Ø
I will
provide a sports environment for my team that is free from inappropriate
language, drugs, and alcohol, and will refrain from their use at any league
event.
Ø
I will
teach techniques that discourage illegal contact, intentional dangerous play,
and reduce the risk of injury to both my players and the opponents.
